The thirteenth Mental Health Media Awards 2006 were held on Tuesday 10th October as part of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) and included an introduction by Alistair Campbell.

The event which is held each year, awards all area of the media for the best portrayals of mental distress and reporting of mental health issues.
